AIDF involves aid agencies, UN organizations, governments and businesses supplying goods and services to this community.
AIDF provides a unique networking opportunity including the exhibition cocktail reception and networking breakfast ; a meetings arrangement service so you can make the most of your time out of the office; and the opportunity to discuss challenges faced in the provision of aid, relief and development and to build partnerships to address them effectively.
Workshop sessions are specifically designed to improve coordination and cross-sector understanding resulting in increased efficiency. There will also be a procurement network to enhance understanding between government, UN, and NGO organizations, procurement agencies and companies supplying goods and services to the aid, humanitarian relief and development sectors.
An "experiential zone" will demonstrate 3-4 different scenarios faced in field/village settings. The intention is to present disaster scenarios with possible solutions that exist.
